Mental model
Think contribution, not app recreation.
Host vs provider
Nuwe (host) owns identity, HealthKit, scores, Today, and NuMe recommendations. It decides when an activity might help.
Your provider owns one focused experience: a short activity the user can start and complete. You declare what you offer; Nuwe decides relevance.
Activity
An activity is a single unit of help โ e.g. a 2-minute desk reset, a breathing exercise, a hydration check-in. One provider can publish several activities in one manifest.
Runtime
- Native iOS
WKWebViewloads your HTTPS entrypoint - Non-persistent browser storage โ do not rely on cookies or localStorage
- Navigation off your origin is blocked
- You talk to Nuwe only through
window.nuwe - You never receive the user's Nuwe API token
Lifecycle
- User installs your provider from the Nuwe marketplace
- User (or NuMe) starts an activity
- Host calls
activity.startand passes granted context only - User completes; you call
activity.complete(outcome) - Outcome becomes evidence in Nuwe โ you do not write scores yourself
